      Between Camouflage and Beauty is an original 60 x 60 cm oil and mixed media painting inspired by my travels through the jungle – a place where color, light, and life exist in perfect harmony. Walking through this environment feels like stepping into a living postcard: bright hues, warm sunlight, and the quiet presence of animals observing you. In those moments, you become aware that you are only a guest in nature’s world.

The inspiration for this work came from spending an entire afternoon observing a chameleon. Watching it slowly changing colors to blend seamlessly with its surroundings felt both mesmerizing and powerful. There was admiration, and even a touch of jealousy – how beautiful it would be to adapt so naturally, without losing yourself.

The painting captures a moment of recognition between the chameleon and the girl: a symbolic exchange between nature and humanity, instinct and awareness. It represents adaptation not as disappearance, but as strength – the ability to protect yourself, move through different environments, and remain authentic.
